Is it intentional that some weather fills your gauge fast even with countermeasures activated. Like I've god game over with sunlight overdose with hot weather and closed curtains, also second time I've got overflood with storm weather and drain activated + curtains closed. Both times it filled 1/3 of bar in seconds

The weather increases a resource by one every 2 hours, and diminishes the other in the same time (the resources depend on the weather) but every hour, each resource has a chance to also be drained depending on your current “difficulty” (which increases in day 3, day 5 and on every 5th day after) so you might get really unlucky and get up to 3 bars drained at the same time. I’m currently working on an update that balances difficulty a lot more (with the new balance my highest record is 32% bloom in 16 days) I will post on the lexaloffle version of the game soon-ish, and that I will later post (once the jam is over) here.

It's certainly rough. One moment I had half filled bards for everything, and the other moment I've game over before of starvation. Looks like the game decided to empty half of fertilizer bar in one second.

Is there any indication of drain being activated?

Each tool, when activated, changes the message at the bottom of the laptop from “activate” to deactivate, however, unlike the rest of the tools, drain doesn´t have a visual effect. It plays an sfx when activated, but only once. This is mainly because I wasn´t able to come up with a way to visually represt the drain being active.

I can't understand why fertilizer is "not available" after being recharged sometimes

Oh! Maybe I should’ve explained or given clues to certain mechanics. You cannot use both the sprinkler and fertilizer at the same time (because they come out of the same pipe) That is an oversight on my part, sorry. It will be fixed in the full release, but I might also make a small update fixing some bugs that have been reported to me and also explain this better in-game.

Oh, I see. Thanks!
